I am very happy to report I found Orchard View at the top of a list of local independent vets. I booked my 14 year old dearly loved collie in for a consultation suspecting that his lump was too large to be removed. It was agreed with Maddie that it was best that he was euthanised which she did there and then so I didn’t have to go away and come back. Maddie made it an easy beautiful process and I can’t thank her enough. ❤️

We have recently discovered a great local and most welcoming Veterinary Practice in Highnam namely Orchard View Vets. Maddie, is just one of the dedicated vets there and is brilliant with our very nervous little cat. “Pussy Willow”. She has been chipped and vaccinated without any problem and Maddie tempts her with ‘Likky Likky’ which seems to do the trick! She certainly has the midas touch with cats. We highly recommend the Orchard practice without any reservations and Pussy Willow looks forward to her next visit ❤️. We cannot thank the team at Orchard View enough.

I’ve been struggling to find the right words to describe just how exceptional Orchard View Vets practice is! I was able to book a same-day appointment for my dog online and when I arrived I immediately felt the impact of an immensely warm, welcoming and wonderfully presented facility, for both pets and humans! The staff are incredibly kind and I really felt heard and understood about my concerns. I also appreciated the in-depth explanation on the issues and treatment options. They wasted no time treating my dog in what could have become a serious emergency and were able to operate on her the very next day, something I felt 100% safe and secure in allowing thanks to the staff’s caring nature and expertise. There are no hidden costs here; they are super upfront and understanding of the expense, but additionally reasonably priced. I feel so lucky to have found this practice and I would recommend to anyone looking for expert care from people who so clearly love animals (not to mention the female owned, female led part!!!).

The Orchard View Vets team are honestly so lovely and so competent - I was a bit nervous for both my rescue dogs to go under anaesthetic for a teeth clean but they were so understanding and did it in the least distressing way for the dogs, helping to reduce their anxiety and my own! The surgery itself is a lovely, calm space and the monthly care plan they offer really helps with budgeting. Kate and Maddie are so knowledgeable and professional with both medical and surgical specialisms- I really trust their judgement and feel they consider both pets’ and owners needs. I would genuinely highly recommend them.

I cannot speak highly enough of the efficiency and kindness shown by Kate the vet. The elderly cat staying with me over Christmas became very poorly and despite not being registered was seen immediately as an emergency case. He was treated with gentleness and compassion and went on to make a good recovery. The surgery is spotless and welcoming and I would recommend anyone to take your animals for treatment there if you live in the area.
