I’ve been struggling to find the right words to describe just how exceptional Orchard View Vets practice is! I was able to book a same-day appointment for my dog online and when I arrived I immediately felt the impact of an immensely warm, welcoming and wonderfully presented facility, for both pets and humans! The staff are incredibly kind and I really felt heard and understood about my concerns. I also appreciated the in-depth explanation on the issues and treatment options. They wasted no time treating my dog in what could have become a serious emergency and were able to operate on her the very next day, something I felt 100% safe and secure in allowing thanks to the staff’s caring nature and expertise. There are no hidden costs here; they are super upfront and understanding of the expense, but additionally reasonably priced. I feel so lucky to have found this practice and I would recommend to anyone looking for expert care from people who so clearly love animals (not to mention the female owned, female led part!!!).

The Orchard View Vets team are honestly so lovely and so competent - I was a bit nervous for both my rescue dogs to go under anaesthetic for a teeth clean but they were so understanding and did it in the least distressing way for the dogs, helping to reduce their anxiety and my own! The surgery itself is a lovely, calm space and the monthly care plan they offer really helps with budgeting. Kate and Maddie are so knowledgeable and professional with both medical and surgical specialisms- I really trust their judgement and feel they consider both pets’ and owners needs. I would genuinely highly recommend them.

I cannot speak highly enough of the efficiency and kindness shown by Kate the vet. The elderly cat staying with me over Christmas became very poorly and despite not being registered was seen immediately as an emergency case. He was treated with gentleness and compassion and went on to make a good recovery. The surgery is spotless and welcoming and I would recommend anyone to take your animals for treatment there if you live in the area.

It was a pleasure to meet Maddie and the team yesterday. My cat, Miss Pepper was very stressed yesterday after her drive in to you from Newent. However it didn’t take long for the vet, Maddie to calm her down and settle her. Thank Maddie for her excellent consultation, giving Miss Pepper her time, a pain free inoculation and a thorough medical check over. Please let her know, I hardly had a meow from Miss Pepper, on her return journey to Newent and she trotted out of her carrier when we got home, as if nothing had happened. It was our first visit to you yesterday and we will certainly becoming back to you in the future. I will highly recommend you to all my friend pet owners.

After reading all the local vet reviews found these best reviews so traveled a bit further to come here and it was definitely worth it. Was very nice clean and tidy. All the staff members were lovely and knowledgeable. We just had a new pup who we had only had for one day and the vet was fantastic with our little pup ember. She was very patient calm and gentle. Would highly recommend even if means traveling a little further to give orchard view vets a try

Cannot praise this team enough. Saw me at short notice with my moggy, excellent transparency on thoughts, actions and costs. No pressure just genuine care. Sorted us out and moggy well on the road to recovery. She even got a free overnight stay, Was also impressed by opening hours, convenient location and ease of parking. When you have a stressy pet its nice to have no other issues to think about. Would highly recommend. Shes now back to hunting and mighty happy...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Paw-some! I went to Orchard View with a sore paw and was greeted by Laura and Maddie, who gave me loads of fuss (I didn’t even notice the exam!). The next day I had to have an op, but Kate and Andrea made me feel safe and cared for. When I woke up, they gave me treats and tummy rubs—best goodbye ever! 🐾 Everyone here truly cares about us pups (and our humans).Even my Mum was confident leaving me with them, and you can't get higher praise. Woof of approval from me! 🐶❤️

We cannot thank Orchard View Vets enough for the incredible care they gave our dog, Dot, when she suddenly needed emergency surgery at very short notice. From the moment we arrived, Maddie, Kate and Laura were absolutely amazing – calm, professional and so compassionate. They made a frightening situation so much easier with their reassurance and clear communication, and we always felt Dot was in the very best hands. The surgery was a success, and the aftercare has been fantastic. It’s clear how much the whole team genuinely cares for the animals they treat, and we are so grateful for their dedication and kindness. Orchard View Vets went above and beyond for Dot and for us, and we would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a practice that combines exceptional skill with real compassion.
